Journey
in a Nutshell
Today we left the Carolyn Beach Motel in Thessalon, Ont. about 8 A.M.
and traveled east along the north shore of northern Lake Huron, the
trails were excellent. Along the way the trails went up and down and around
so much, that George got sick....... Is there a rule about not eating green
snow??? Also we came across a herd of free running pigs. What does it mean
when a big old black sow crosses the trail in front of you and gives you
the eye???? If anyone knows please send us a Email..... Eugene is very
concerned... since he's the one that got the eye.... We finally made it
to Sudbury about 7:00 P.M. Everyone is generally sore..... the last 20
miles was really tough.

We met a group of Gals from the Elliot Lake, ont. area, Eugene could not convince them to come along...... Good to see the ladies on the trail.... we see mostly the guys.... | |

We thought that we were in a tunnel, the blue sky was
like the light at the end of the tunnel. Note Georges 2nd new 1999 Skidoo
MXZ 600 up front, with only 45 miles on it. the trails were very smooth,
great for making miles....

We think Robert has webbed feet, and maybe breathing from his ears, he likes water... Of 7 riders, only Robert had a problem. even the two old ladies didn't have much of a problem. This was only a few miles from our hotel in Sudbury, Ont. |
