Day 4 - Jan 29

    I just want to apologize, to Lisa's mom, Joel's mom, Bill's mom,
my mom. I am sorry to everyone. I was very naive. I'm so so sorry
for everything that has happened, because despite what George says, it is
my fault, it was my idea to put Jan's "evil eye" on the web page. Everything
had to be my way! Now we are missing 7 riders and I'm cold, hungry and lost. .
I love you all, I'm so sorry, please Jan forgive me. I'm to scared to close my eyes and
I'm scared to open them... WHAT WAS THAT?

Journey in a Nutshell
We left Manitowadge, Ontario this morning about 8:15, traveling northwest toward Hornpayne, Ontario for lunch and then onto Hearst, Ontario. It was very foggy with the temps in the 20's. We started using the Helmet communicators today on George, Pete and Bill. This allowed them to warn others in the group via hand signs of oncoming traffic and difficult trail spots. It also helped the group stay closer together. Several people broke rule #1 today, going off the trail and getting stuck. The list includes: Jan, Lisa, Betty and Pete (see above). This was also the last day that the "ROOKIES" were with us. They are loading their sleds on the Snow Train in the morning and heading back to Sault St. Marie, Ontario and then back home... Everyone has had an excellent time..... Now the original group of Betty & George, Pete, Eugene & Joann, John and Robert continue this adventure for another 7 days and 1,400 miles. We enjoy reading your emails and respond to everyone... Please drop us a note or question at the link below. We are currenty planning on heading east toward Cochrane, Ontario instead of orignally planned route west... due to trail conditions in the morning.

		This scene is right out of a science fiction movie... The landscape of this planet is icy cold with everything crystallized... note the alien antennae sticking up from the surface.
This one is titled "Betty Napping" after a long days ride, betty decided to take a break and relax for a while.... we are not so sure about her parking technique. We also think, technically she is breaking rule #1  ..
		Here is the group of riders that has spent the last 3 days on the trails, chasing each other.... This picture is real puzzling, due to the fact "whos fingers are above Roberts head....(2nd from left, top row) and what about those stick figures hanging from the tree's next to the trail..... and the weird noises in the woods when we stop.......
