Day 10 - Feb 4
 

Sunrise on the trail.....
   We got an early start this morning, and got to watch the sun come up, through
the trees, creating almost a surreal experience.

Journey in a Nutshell
We got underway at 7:30 A.M. this morning with temps around 0 degrees. We left Chapleau and traveled southeast toward Elliott Lake, Ontario, stopping for lunch and gas at the "STOP129" Restaurant, for hot grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. We completed over 100 miles before lunch today. We all made it safely to our motel about 4:00, only a few bruises today... and a total of 175 miles. We will be heading west toward Searchmont, Ontario in the morning. This is our final day on the trail. We are planning on loading up and driving down to St. Ignace, to spend the night.  Everyone loves to read the emails we get each day... keep them coming, ask us a question, whatever! just click below

		Lunch at the "STOP129" - here we are getting ready to get back on the trail. . We have all come to the conclusion that Canada has the best soups and pies.... Or at least they taste the best after coming in from the cold trail.
Here we see Betty again, once again showing off her riding styles.. She thinks the one on the right lets her look back to where she is going... and also to look forward to see where shes been... We all prefer when she rides like the picture on the left... she keeps up better..  ..
		Heres the Pattullo2000 group coming down a hill. As we got closer to Michigan, we started to run into what we call STIFF's (Stupid Trail Idiots Flying Fast), we watched one STIFF ride by us and through a stop sign, without even slowing down... after we just watched 3 big logging trucks go by in about 2 minutes... What an IDIOT, its like someone sucked their brains out! Then later we watched another group of STIFF's barely miss us, with one of their buddies missing a curve at a high rate of speed just missing a tree and stuffing his sled in a snow bank... "Lucky STIFF"... . I think Jeff Foxworthy was right.... There are red necks everywhere....A few beers and something fast... what a combination.... Now that we are coming into the weekend the STIFF's are out in full force, causing us to drive very cautiously... After what we saw today.. pray for us...
